Halden PadelklubbFounded 2021

The padel club in Halden. Run by volunteers since 2021, with coaching, tournaments and Padel & Pizza — and no expectation that you have ever held a racket.

01 — The club

A way into the sport.

Padel is a mix of tennis and squash, played two against two on an enclosed court walled in glass. The rules are simple enough that most people are playing within a quarter of an hour, and the ball stays in play longer than in tennis. That is why most people enjoy it from the first time.

The club wants to be both a sporting and a social padel club: one that involves its members, builds a network, keeps a good atmosphere, and above all makes it possible to play padel in Halden and the area around it.

We run a club championship every year and regular tournaments, issue licences, hold social gatherings and bring in new members.

Halden Padelklubb is a member of the Norwegian Olympic and Paralympic Committee and Confederation of Sports, the Norwegian Tennis Federation and Halden Idrettsråd.

07 — Sponsors

Every krone goes to children and young people.

Halden Padelklubb's overriding aim is to get children and young people active. The club runs entirely on volunteer effort.

In practice that means any surplus from tournaments, the kiosk, membership fees and sponsorship goes towards letting more children try this brilliant sport.

Our sponsors and partners make that job easier for us:

If you play with Norsk Tipping, a share of your stake can go straight to the club through Grasrotandelen (opens in a new tab). It costs you nothing, and the money goes to the same place as everything else.

08 — Contact

Ask us anything at all.

The club is run by volunteers, so it may take a few days before you hear back.
